10、AbstractObjective This paper expounds the present situation and characteristics of residents' basic health skills in the central area of Liuzhou city, and analyzes and summarizes its influencing factors. To provide the basis for the health-related departments in the central area of Liuzhou City to carry out health education and health promotion in a targeted manner in the future, so as to improve the basic health skills of residents in their daily lives. Methods 458 permanent residents aged 15-69 in Chengzhong District of Liuzhou City were randomly selected by multi-stage PPS sampling method and KISH table method, and household questionnaire survey was conducted, and statistical analysis was made by SPSS 26.0 statistical software. Results The basic skill literacy level of urban residents was 29.5%.Univariate analysis shows that the basic health skills are influenced by four factors: age, education level, occupation and chronic diseases. Among them, the education level is junior high school [OR = 0.068 (95% CI: 0.016, 0.285)], senior high school/vocational high school/technical secondary school [OR = 0.264 (95% CI: 0.090, 0.772)] and junior college [OR = 0.262 (95%)].
